Q: In a saturated field of photographers what is your nitch? What distinguishes your perspectives from other photographers?
A: I think my nitch is the way I see things and another photographer's nitch is how he or she see things. I don't think it's good enough to simply say my nitch is fine art photograph, or my nitch is fashion photography. Because 10,000 other photographers is going to say the same thing.
Perspective... We are all unique individuals, and as artist that tends to come out in our work. Saturated or not, each individual brings their own character to the shoot. What sets me apart from another photographer is Mark Anthony... me.
Q: What type of photography are you most drawn too?
A: I'm a black and white / color tone type dude. Black and white photography tell it like it is with no chaser. Actually, I'm just getting into the color toning. When I use to process my own prints I was always a fan of the sepia effect.
I love fashion photography because it unites the skills of the model with the skills of the photographer and creates a beautiful bond. It persuades and it's artistic. I love fine art photography because the photographer decides what's art from their perspective. I love sports photography because shutter speed - the ability to capture motion, is still amazing to me after all these years.
